You've found an awesome resource, right here! We are Peter & Amy Minke and we have been using Young Living Essential Oils for over 21 years. We actually used other oils before that, and even some during that time, but we learned the hard way that there is a WIDE range of quality out there and the poor quality (even when they say they are tested and "pure"), can hurt you.

Please know that we only use Young Living Essential Oils – and that in our opinion and experience, you cannot expect to achieve the same results we talk about by just going out and buying essential oils. In fact, we hesitate to teach people how we use oils until we know that they have Young Living oils. You need a company committed to quality and committed to the therapeutic use of essential oils.

Why would you want to learn from us?

We have A LOT of experience! We have 5 children and have used Young Living products through 4 pregnancies and with 5 infants (Our oldest was a baby when we found YL -- he's now 21!). We are both massage therapists and we have taught regular people as well as massage therapists to use essential oils safely and effectively for the last 21 years.

Also, Peter has a PhD in Cell Biology. (If you're interested in the science behind essential oils, ask him questions! He loves to "geek out" about the oils.) Peter served on the Scientific Advisory Board for Young Living Essential Oils. He has been a national and international trainer for Young Living, as well -- that means he travels across the country and around the world teaching people how to use essential oils!
